Probably a bit too late with this considering it came out well over a year ago, but I’ve never known a sequel to improve upon the original so much as Mass Effect 2.
Completing the first one was a massive struggle, and nothing but an experiment in mediocre space opera. The second, though, is pretty much perfect. I’m glad they did away with the inventory system and the awkward upgrades: seeing as it’s essentially a squad based shooter with RPG elements, it makes a hell of a lot more sense than fucking around with Oblivion-esque equipment tweaks.
I’m doing every side quest possible to stop myself completing it too quickly, and I can tell I won’t want it to end.
